I had been looking at a 1300 number for some time and after mulling over which provider to go with, I made a few phone calls and found that Alltel’s phone service was absolutely spot on. I got the information I needed with no jargon and no hidden costs. Fast forward to yesterday and suddenly there was a huge rush for me to get the number out. I made an online application about midnight and then called today to discuss it further. After discussing it with the lovely Lucinda, I managed to get the service sorted out extremely quickly. Our 1300 number was with Optus beforehand. After a simple phone call with Alltel we had the exact same 1300 number but at a cheaper rate. By the end of the day we also had a live answering support service as back up for all of our public enquiries. Now we can relax knowing Alltel is there 24/7 to cover our customer calls ‘LIVE’ if the phone is unanswered in three rings at the office. If we trade from different office locations in the week, all it takes is one email sent to the Alltel Support Team and they divert our 1300 number to the second line and are ready to answer any missed calls in a heartbeat. Now that’s what I call customer service!

Alltel connects Limbs 4 Life to the people who need us most! We’re a small not for profit charity and Alltel was the cheapest choice for us: believe me price matters! However, so does service and Alltel service is exceptional. In setting up our business, Alltel stood out for me as a high calibre supplier. The 1800 service offer was clear, simple and priced very competitively. When I rang, there was a real person (a delightful woman) who answered quickly and told me everything I needed to know. When I had a phone issue and was trying to resolve it, I very quickly got help, and they went out of their way and followed up, despite my being a small customer. The SMS-ing of bills and having it all online works well for me: keeps things simple and keeps costs down. Bills are easy to understand, and I have never had unexpected costs. I love that it is a local business, and have always felt the personal touch. To me, Alltel is exactly what I want in a supplier—my life is made easier with great product, price and service.
